Ezri Konsa scored his first Arsenal goal as the Gunners beat Everton 2-0 on Premier League matchday 8. Gabriel also scored. William Saliba has been out since July with a long-term back issue.

BBC Sport reports Arsenal have conceded the fewest Premier League goals this season and kept clean sheets in five of eight league games. Konsa has started six of those matches after a £55m move from Aston Villa in August.

Konsa tops the Premier League pass-completion chart this season at 96% from 324 passes, per BBC Sport. He also started for England at the World Cup.

Arteta told BBC Sport Konsa's start has been unbelievable and that the chemistry with Gabriel already looks solid. Saliba is doing individual work on grass with no return date yet.
