Aston Villa beat Manchester City 2-1. Jackson scored twice, on 6 and 60 minutes, and Erling Haaland scored for City on 52.
Tottenham won 2-0 at Chelsea through a Penders own goal on 77 minutes and a Tel goal on 87. Newcastle won 2-0 at Crystal Palace, with goals from Osula (47) and Barnes (58).
Arsenal beat Everton 2-0 and Liverpool beat Brighton 2-0. Fulham won 1-0 at Coventry with a Bobb goal on 80 minutes.
Ipswich drew 1-1 with Nottingham Forest. Hull and Brentford also drew 1-1: McBurnie scored a penalty on 24 minutes and Ouattara equalised on 63. Sunderland, who are bottom, drew 0-0 with Leeds.
