Tottenham Hotspur beat Chelsea 2-0 at Stamford Bridge on Saturday 24 October in Premier League matchday 8.

Chelsea goalkeeper Mike Penders put the ball into his own net on 77 minutes from a corner. Mathys Tel made it 2-0 on 87 minutes with a low finish, according to BBC Sport and ESPN.

Cole Palmer was sent off on 80 minutes after a second yellow card, his first career red card. BBC Sport says he will miss Chelsea's Carabao Cup tie at Liverpool.

It was Chelsea's first home league defeat of the season under Xabi Alonso. Tottenham keeper Antonín Kinský had earlier saved from Palmer, Jordan Henderson and Pedro Neto.
