Rasheedat Ajibade will miss Paris Saint-Germain Women's UEFA Women's Champions League match against Manchester City Women on Thursday 29 October. The Super Falcons captain is recovering after surgery on a fractured fibula, Daily Post Nigeria reports.

Ajibade suffered the injury while playing for Nigeria against Comoros in the second leg of their 2028 Olympic Games qualifier at the Remo Stars Sports Complex in Ikenne. She was taken off in the 28th minute, with Folashade Ijamilusi coming on, Daily Post says. ESPN reported that the ankle/fibula fracture would keep her out of UWCL and Nigeria fixtures for a considerable period.

Daily Post says she underwent surgery last week and has begun rehabilitation. PSG have not announced a return date.

Manchester City host PSG at the Joie Stadium in Manchester. Kick-off is 20:00 UK time, which is 21:00 WAT, according to Manchester City's match preview. City have drawn their first two Women's Champions League league-phase games — a comeback against Bayern Munich and 1-1 at home to Real Madrid — and sit on two points, Sports Mole notes. PSG have four points after drawing with Real Madrid and beating Leuven 5-0.

Sports Mole says City are still without Vivianne Miedema (knee) and will assess Risa Shimizu, Sam Coffey and Beth Mead. For PSG, Anaïs Ebayilin is expected to miss the rest of the season with an ACL injury, and Ajibade is unavailable after the fibula fracture on Nigeria duty. Romee Leuchter has returned from a three-match absence.
