The Carabao Cup quarter-final draw was made on Wednesday night, 28 October, after the fourth-round games. Fleetwood Town, the lowest-ranked club still in the competition, will play at home at Highbury against Everton or Newcastle United, BBC Sport reports.

Fleetwood reached the last eight for the first time by knocking out Premier League champions Arsenal on Tuesday. The game finished 1-1 and the League Two side won the shootout 5-3. BBC Sport notes Fleetwood had never gone past the third round before this season.

They will not know their opponents until Thursday 29 October, when Everton host Newcastle at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in the last fourth-round tie.

Holders Manchester City will host League One Bradford City at the Etihad Stadium. City beat Brighton 4-3 on penalties after a 2-2 draw on Wednesday. Bradford beat Peterborough United 2-0 on Tuesday, with goals from Macaulay Gillesphey and Adam Phillips, Sky Sports reports.

The other two ties are between Premier League clubs. Liverpool, who beat Chelsea 6-5 on penalties after a 1-1 draw at Anfield, will host Bournemouth, who beat Aston Villa 3-0. Crystal Palace, who won at Fulham, will host Sunderland at Selhurst Park after Sunderland beat Brentford 3-2.

BBC Sport says the quarter-finals will be played in the week starting Monday 14 December. Exact dates and kick-off times have not been announced yet.

The full draw: Fleetwood Town v Everton or Newcastle United; Manchester City v Bradford City; Crystal Palace v Sunderland; Liverpool v Bournemouth.
