Everton and Newcastle United play the last Carabao Cup fourth-round tie at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Thursday 29 October. Kick-off is 7:45pm GMT, which is 20:45 WAT, Newcastle's official website says.
The winners already know their next opponents. Wednesday night's quarter-final draw sent League Two Fleetwood Town, who knocked out Arsenal on penalties on Tuesday, to Highbury to host Everton or Newcastle in the week starting 14 December.
Newcastle are trying to reach the quarter-finals for a fifth season in a row, and the club says more than 7,700 away fans will travel to Merseyside. Head coach Matthias Jaissle said he will pick "the best possible line-up" because of the club's history in the competition. "The fans have huge expectations and they have that taste now with winning the competition," he said. "We will go all in."
Jaissle said Lewis Miley and Matías Fernández-Pardo are still doubtful. Both missed Sunday's 2-0 win at Crystal Palace, Miley with a knock and Fernández-Pardo with illness. Tino Livramento is still in rehabilitation, and goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen is out with a hamstring injury that is expected to keep him out until December, the Liverpool Echo reports. The Northern Echo says Lukas Hornicek is expected to start in goal, as he did in the third-round win at Millwall.
Anthony Elanga and Jacob Ramsey came off the bench at Selhurst Park after injury spells. Jaissle would not say whether either will start but said both are "making progress day by day".
Everton lost 2-0 at Arsenal on Saturday without Jack Grealish, who was ill, and Jarrad Branthwaite, who is going through the return-to-play protocol after a concussion. David Moyes is also waiting for news on left-back Vitalii Mykolenko, who was taken off in the second half at the Emirates, according to the Liverpool Echo.
The two sides meet again four days later, in the Premier League at St James' Park on Monday 2 November.
