Genoa beat Juventus 2-0 at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris on Wednesday 28 October. Both goals came in the first half hour, and Gazzetta dello Sport says it was Daniele De Rossi's first win over Juventus as a coach. The Serie A game kicked off at 20:45 WAT.

Kingsley Ehizibue opened the scoring on 12 minutes. Tommaso Baldanzi swapped passes with Vitinha on the left and sent a low cross through the box. Ehizibue arrived at the back post, and his shot went in off Andrea Cambiaso. Foot Africa reports it was the Dutch-Nigerian defender's first goal for Genoa, in his first game back from a thigh problem. He joined on a free transfer from Udinese in September.

Genoa doubled their lead on 28 minutes. Pierre Kalulu, the last Juventus defender, let the ball bounce, and Vitinha took it off him and ran at goal. He passed to Baldanzi, whose shot took a deflection off Gleison Bremer and beat goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

Kalulu shot wide from close range in first-half stoppage time. Luciano Spalletti sent on Edon Zhegrova and Nick Woltemade at half-time, but Juventus rarely broke through. Teun Koopmeiners hit the crossbar with a free-kick in stoppage time, and Genoa goalkeeper Justin Bijlow then saved from Jhon Lucumí.

Genoa move up to 10 points from nine games. Juventus stay on 14 points after their third defeat of the season, 11 behind leaders Inter and Lazio, Gazzetta says. Juventus host Napoli in Turin on Sunday 1 November at 20:45 WAT.

Napoli won 4-1 at Monza's U-Power Stadium in a game that also kicked off at 20:45 WAT. Rasmus Højlund put them ahead on 10 minutes after a through ball from Giovanni Di Lorenzo. Stanislav Lobotka went off injured soon afterwards and was replaced by Billy Gilmour, ESPN's match data shows.

Gustavo Varela headed Monza level two minutes before half-time from a Jay Robinson cross. Matteo Politano put Napoli back in front three minutes after the restart, and Rafa Marín headed in Politano's corner on 62 minutes. Kevin De Bruyne came off the bench a minute later and scored on 67 minutes from a Noa Lang pass, Tuttomercatoweb reports.

Nigeria midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro came on for Monza on the hour. Napoli move level with Juventus on 14 points, while Monza stay on seven.
